Captured North Vietnamese Trawler
On July 15, 1967 this trawler shown below was run aground and captured by Market
Time units at Cape Batangan just off the Sa Ky River located 60 clicks south of Da Nang.
The USS Wilhoite DER-397, USCGC Point Orient WPB 82319, USS Gallup PG-85,
and PCF-79, shot up and ran aground this trawler while the USS Pledge MSO-492
provided barrier coverage to the south.
