This sight is a joy to behold! I hit the decks of the USS Inflict MSO456 in Apl. 74 and danced with the haze-grey lady from Guam to Portland Me. It's great to her at sea and before she was extended and given the SQQ14 sonar system too. I'll recommend this sight to any ole swab jockie, not just the sweep-sailors!

Chusk;
I really enjoyed your Implicit web page. It sure brought back a lot of memories on this Memorial Day, I was the XO from June 61' to Feb 64' We came up with the " Wooden Ship- Iron Men" motto and the original palque- themailed fist crushing an exploding mine. We (MinDiv91) made the first deployment to Vietnam in 1962. A real fun trip--we were told to "patrol" and that was about it. So, we made up our own patrol plans and reported everything we saw moving. We also managed to wrap Persistent's anchor chain around our port shaft in Da Nang harbor. Does anyone out there remember that fiasco?

BZ, Chuck! Superb pictures! I invite you to visit our Swift Boat Sailors Association web site at http://www.swiftboats.org/ and also http://www.pcf45.com/index.html - subsections Sa Ky Victory, Sa Ky Aftermath and Epilogue. These sites tell the story of the captrue of the enemy trawler shown in your section Market Time 7 or 8. Our boat (PCF-79) and crew was involved in the capture of that trawler - code named Skunk Alpha.
Thank you for the memories...
