Other shipmates promoted and tossed overboard with me were
 Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Peake and Lt John Seery, Sasebo Japan 1968

Lt John Joseph Seery was killed in action in Vietnam while serving as a Patrol Officer 
of PBR River Division 515, in February 1969.  Lt Seery was the third in his family to be
killed in action while serving the United States of America.
